She waited all night, but the Windclan warrior did not come...

Instead a familiar shadow came toward her with a familiar scent... Ashfur! He snarled and the last thing Leafpool saw was his paw coming toward her. Then it was all black. She woke up the next day and was, at first, confused as to why she was not in Cind- her den.... then it all came back to her. "Ashfur!" She called. "Ashfur where are you?!?" Leafpool was inside an old badger set... she saw Ashfur coming in. Leafpool was not sure what had happened. "Good morning." Ashfur said nastily and nudged her with his right forepaw. "I've been waiting for you to wake up. Before you ask, I knocked you out on purpose... I need you to be my hostage until your sister see's the truth that she is MINE!" Leafpool started to shake. She wanted to jump up and slash his face, then run out of the set as fast as possible. But she didn't move. "Ashfur, ummm uhh hows it going?" She asked. She wanted to gain his sympathy and trust.. and she didnt want him to hurt her. His head whipped around and he looked at her. "Perfectly fine." He said wearily and then went and sat at the entrance to the set and ate the mouse. He had given her a rabbit, but she felt sick. She felt she was going to cry any moment when she smelt and familiar scent... a beautiful scent. Her lover's scent. Crowfeather's scent.

She remained silent, trying not to give Crowfeather away. The dark gray warrior crept up behind Ashfur and leapt on him, knocking him down. Crowfeather had the element of surprise and was slashing Ashfur's side. But Ashfur recovered from the shock, and flipped Crowfeather over, biting down hard on the Windclan warriors neck. Leafpool jumped out to help her lover and knocked Ashfur over...

*widens eyes* The drama! I hope that stuff doesn't happen in the real one. Ashy rocks, but Bramble x Squirrel is better.

ya! leafpool managed to push Ashfur over, then Crowfeather and her ran like there was no tomorrow. For a moment they both felt the pure bliss of being together despite what had just happened... but Ashfur was fast...  |

"Faster!" Wailed Leafpool. Ashfur ran like the speed of light, gaining on them even more with every second. Leafpool thought that maybe they could climb a tree, but she knew it was no use, Ashfur would be right behind them. Leafpool could here Ashfur's paws, pounding on the ground, right behind her, she was panting, how would they ever escape? She shot a glance at Crowfeather, he was breathing hard and his muscles were rippling under his fur. He looked up at her, and smiled. His eyes were full of love for Leafpool, and dispite their terrible situation, she smiled back. Suddenly, Crowfeather stopped. Leafpool spun around, "What are you doing?" She wailed. "Go, Leafpool!" he cried, "Go, while you still can!" "But Crowfeather!" wailed Leafpool, "I can't just leave you here!" "I'll be fine," he meowed, "Go!" Leafpool stared deep into his eyes, "I love you," he meowed, " I love you too," she meowed back. "Goodbye." She mewed, then she turned tail and ran.

OOC: XD EVAIL ASHFUR!
BIC: Crowfeather wheeled around to face Ashfur. The gray tom snarled, and leaped. Crowfeather jumped away, and proceeded to slash Ashfur's shoulder. He howled in pain, and Ashfur slammed into Crowfeather's side.
Meanwhile, Squirrelflight was hunting with Brambleclaw. They had heard all the commotion, and ventured out to see what was going on. Squirrelflight's eyes widened in shock as she saw Ashfur and Crowfeather fighting. Why is Crowfeather here? she thought. And what in StarClan is Ashfur doing?! She looked at Brambleclaw with worry in her eyes. They leaped out of their cover, yowling for the two cats to stop.

Ashfur glared at Brambleclaw, "Squirrelflight, come to me." he hissed, " If you don't, I will murder Brambleclaw, and your friend here," he motioned to Crowfeather.

Squirrelflight's eyes widened in horror, but ended in a glare.
"I won't let you do that!" she hissed. Squirrelflight leaped onto Ashfur with a yowl of fury, and Brambleclaw ran after her. Crowfeather got up, and began feinting at Ashfur. Ashfur hissed, and shook Squirrelflight off.
Leafpool stooped running. She was right near the edge of the WindClan border. I can't go any further! she thought desperately. Then again, WHY am I running! Shape up, you fool! You're a MEDICINE CAT! Go help them! Without another thought, Leafpool turned around, and began running back.

leafpool ran and found brambleclaw and crowfeather fighting side by side in a fight with ashfur. squirrelflight just stood there with look of horror on her face. leafpool ran into battle... she didnt care if it wasnt her place, she wanted to fight... she HAD to... her love was fighting and bleeding fromt he shoulder.. and so was brambleclaw who had stopped, caught his breath panting and lept back into battle. that was when firestar showed up! O.O oh the suspence!  |

"WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!" he demanded. All the cats stopped fighting. Firestar's voice was so angry and powerful. "You," he motioned to Crowfeather, "You shouldn't even BE here, you're from Windclan. "And you!" he glared at Ashfur, "I am sick and tired of you. I should call back Midnight and her badger friends to rip you apart!"

leafpool was embaressed to have her father see crowfeather and talk to him like that... as for ashfur, he simply lunged at her father. haha! jk O.O |

"What's wrong with all of you?!" shrieked Squirrelflight. Now, Brambleclaw, Leafpool, and Squirrelflight were all staring in distress and anger. Midnight is not associated with her kin! thought Squirrelflight fiercely. I can't believe Firestar just said that!
"Stop the fighting!" came another yowl. All the cats whipped around to see Graystripe. Firestar's eyes widened in surprise.
"Graystripe!" he meowed. "You came back!" He rushed over in an attempt to touch noses, but Graystripe leapt away, hissing.
"What has gotten into all of you?" he hissed. "Firestar, violence is not the answer! And Crowfeather, why are you here? Ashfur, you have no right to kill for love!" Leafpool was stupefied. Graystripe had changed so much after his dissapearance!

Squirrelfight stared in shock and all the cats were silent.

"You wouldn't know how hard I tried to find you!" Graystripe meowed firmly. "Getting through those mountains, just to find all of you quarreling! Really!" He lashed his tail in frustration and disbelief. After a brief silence, Squirrelflight had the courage to speak up again.
"We should all get back to camp," she suggested. Firestar lowered his eyes, and then dipped his head.
"Vert well," he meowed. "I don't see the point in fighting now. We should tell the clan you have returned, Graystripe."
As the cats began to head back to camp, Leafpool padded up to Crowfeather.
"I think it's best for you to go back," she mewed.
