*Crowfeather, Leopardstar & Hawkfrost*
Hawkfrost had leaped on Crowfeather, and pinned him to the ground. Another cat sat on Crowfeather. I'm suffocating! Thought Crowfeather. StarClan help me! The cat was pulled off him, and Crowfeather saw Stormfur smiling down at him. "Stormfur!" exclaimed Crowfeather, "I thought you were in ThunderClan!" "I couldn't just stand by, and watch my true Clan being destroyed," meowed Stormfur, then hurled himself back into the battle.

Thunderclan Camp
Brambleclaw had returned to the camp, and was reporting to Firestar.
"There were no signs of activity, Firestar," he mewed. Firestar sighed in relief.
"That's good, but where's Leafpool? And Crowfeather? They should be back...and where did Stormfur go?" There was a slience.
-Riverclan-
Hawkfrost leaped backwards, and snarled. "I can't waste my time with you," he hissed. The traitor turned and rushed out of the camp.
"Why Hawkfrost?" Leopardstar breathed, "Why?" Stormfur picked up Mistyfoot's body and carried it out of the den. "We need a new deputy...Crowfeather, can you please leave for now? We have to clear things up around here." Crowfeather dipped his head and went to find Mothwing and Leafpool.

Leopardstar stared down at her dead deputy. 2 of my deputies have been killed by traitors. thought Leopardstar. Her heart was wailing. Mistyfoot was a great deputy and will always be rememberd, she thought.
*mothwing and Leafpool*
"What should we do?" whispered Leafpool. "I'm not sure, maybe we-" but Mothwing cut off. She had heard paws on leaves. Someone was coming. She shot a terrified glance at Leafpool, and they huddled farther under the bush. Leafpool opened her mouth and drank in the scent, "Crowfeather!" she exclaimed. The gray-black tom stopped in front of the bush. Leafpool and Mothwing came out of their hiding spot. "What happened?" asked Mothwing. "Stormfur came," meowed Crowfeather, "and Hawkfrost left. I think we should go home." "What about me?" meowed Mothwing, "Where should I go?" Crowfeather was silent for a moment; thinking, "You should go back to your camp; Hawkfrost is gone- for now." "But what about Hawkfrost?" meowed Leafpool, "What if he finds her before she gets back to her camp?" "We'll take her back," decided Crowfeather, "Then we'll leave. Firestar's probably worried sick about you."

"Don't mention it," meowed Crowfeather. "I hope things get better around here," meowed Leafpool. "Thank you for all your help," meowed Leopardstar. "We'll go now," meowed Crowfeather. Leaopardstar dipped her head as the two cats left. Leafpool's heart thumped as she trotted after Crowfeather. Hawkfrost is out there, she thought, somewhere...

-Meanwhile- "I can't believe this!" Hawkfrost cried into the night.

Hawkfrost was trotting angrily next to a black she-cat. It was dark out now, and the two cats had crossed into ShadowClan territory. Hawkfrost had no where to go. He could not stay in RiverClan, for they would be searching everywhere for him. So he had crossed into ShadowClan to hide. "It will be Okay, Hawkfrost," meowed the black she-cat. "We'll find another way to take over. I know we will." "I know, Darkflower," meowed Hawkfrost, "But I was so close! I could have gotten Leopardstar too, if it wasn't for that fool, Stormfur."Darkflower had the scent of rogue. She had come from the lands beyond WindClan's territory, and had met Hawkfrost. The two cats had come up with the plan to kill Mistyfoot and Leopardstar; their plan failed. Without Leopardstar gone, she would simply choose a new deputy. Hawkfrost would have to kill him too. He would stop nowhere to become leader. "Stormfur is strong, and smart. He will be hard to take down. But if we can get him alone, it will be much easier." meowed Darkflower. "Are you suggesting to kill Stormfur?" asked Hawkfrost. He was silent for a moment, "That would work," he concluded with a terrible smile. Darkflower's stomach was bloated. Every so often, Hawkfrost would shoot a glance at her stomach. "The kits will be coming soon," he commented. "Yes," meowed Darkflower. "We'll have to settle somewhere soon. I should be kitting any day now. I don't want to slow you down. You have work to do.""I will take you beyond ShadowClan territory; beyond the Twoleg nest. You should be safe there." he hopped over a fallen log, "They shall be the best kits in the whole forest. They will help us with our plot. They shall be deputies to our Clan; HawkClan." He smiled, his eyes shining with excitement, "And they shall not be brought up believing in that StarClan. It's fox-dung!"Darkflower smiled. "After I am settled, you should go for Stormfur. Just for revenge. But I do not know if you can kill him alone..""I can." meowed Hawkfrost firmly. "Our plan was to catch him alone, so that we would outnumber him. I will be of no help with these kits on the way. Maybe you can find an ally? Whatever happened to Blackclaw? Your RiverClan friend?" asked Darkflower. "Yes, yes..." meowed Hawkfrost, deep in thought, "Blackclaw would surely come with me.""Okay then," meowed Darkflower, "After I am settled, you go and get him. Once you have told him the plan, catch Stormfur when he's alone. Then, kill him."OOC. Oo! A long post ;D And colourful

-ThunderClan Camp- A rustle was heard in the tunnel. It was too dark for anyone to be out, so Cloudtail, who was on duty, rose to his paws and Quickly put himself where he could face the enemy. A golden tabby she-cat blast through the entrance. Leafpool and Crowfeather were right behind her. "Mothwing! Hawkfrost isn't going to hurt you. He's gone." "No!" Mothwing cried into the night. "He's coming here! I know it. Your clan doesn't know of his tretchery. They must know NOW, before someone gets killed!" she wailed. She collasped in front of Cloudtail, the run halfway around the lake wiping away her energy. "What were you thinking! Brigning RiverClan's medicine cat here! And that mangy furball from Windclan, what's he doing here!" Her uncle was always full of it. "Firestar? It's Leafpool." "Come in, Leafpool. What's the matter?" she heard her leader and father call. She brushed passed the lichen curtain, still growing back after the badger attack, and traveled inside. It was dark, but her eyes adjusted quickly and she could just make out Firestar in the faint moonlight. "I have brought news, none of it good. Mistyfoot is...dead." She felt the air fill with tension the moment she said it. Firestar's body was rigid, his fur on end.

Leafpool could see sadness in her fathers' eyes. She knew that him and Mistyfoot had always been friends. "How did it... happen?" he asked quietly. Mothwing spoke up, "Hawkfrost." she meowed firmly. Firestar stared at Mothwing with shock. "It's true," meowed Crowfeather, "He tried to kill us too." "Stormfur saved us," added Leafpool. "Wh-why would Hawkfrost want to kill anyone?" asked Firestar, bewildered. "He is hungry for power." meowed Mothwing seriously, "He wants to be leader of RiverClan." Leafpool could not help but thinking, that he wanted to be leader of more than RiverClan. "Why would he hurt ThunderClan cats- and WindClan cats," Firestar added, "to become RiverClan's leader. We have nothing to do with RiverClan." "I do not know," meowed Mothwing, "But he is coming for you! I know it! He will be here soon. And he's dangerous." Mothwing's voice sounded haunted. "Did StarClan tell you this?" asked Firestar quietly. "No," meowed Mothwing, "My heart told me." Firestar was silent for a moment. Then the leader rose to his paws, and padded out of his den. He trotted to the Highledge, then gave the call to summon a Clan meeting.

The cats trickled out of the dens slowly. An announcement in the middle of the night was not their idea of a good sleep. Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight came out together and sat down close to the Highledge, Leafpool and Crowfeather sitting with them.

"Listen!" yowled Firestar. "You have all heard of Hawkfrost. He is strong, and ambitious. Well, now, his ambition has got the better of him. He is coming to attack - Now!" "How do you know this?" yowled Mousefur. "Mothwing came to tell us." meowed Firestar. "Why should we trust her?" asked Dustpelt, from the front of the crowd, "She is not ThunderClan." "Dustpelt, there are times when it does not matter which Clan you are from." Firestar turned back to the rest of ThunderClan. "We need to be prepared. He probably won't win against a whole Clan, but he could cause some serious injuries." Firestar searched the cats' faces in front of him. "Dustpelt, Cloudtail, Brackenfur, Ashfur, Thornclaw," Firestar paused, "and Squirrelflight, you will go out and stop Hawkfrost. Stormfur, please go with them. You know Hawkfrost better than any of us." Stormfur nodded. He stood up, and flicked his tail; signaling to the other cats to fallow. The cats Firestar had called stood up, and trotted toward the camp entrance. Squirrelflight padded over to Brambleclaw. She had always thought that Hawkfrost was dangerous. She was about to say 'I told you so' to Brambleclaw, but then she saw the look on his face. He was slouched over, his eyes closed. "Oh, Brambleclaw," meowed Squirrelflight softly. Brambleclaw leaped to his paws, fur bristling. He glared at Squirrelflight, then hissed, "This has nothing to do with his parents! Hawkfrost chose to do this on his own will!" then, the Warrior turned, and left. Squirrelflight stood still, in shock. She now realized that Brambleclaw had not been among the Warriors that Firestar had chosen to fight Hawkfrost. Did Firestar not trust Brambleclaw? After seeing the way that he had reacted, Squirrelflight supposed that this was a wise decision. Firestar did not want Brambleclaw to fight his brother. "Squirrelflight, come on!" meowed Cloudtail, from the camp entrance. Squirrelflight raced over to the departing patrol. She wondered if there would be a big fight. Maybe after seeing their big patrol, Hawkfrost would leave...
