Spiderleg waited patiently as Cinderpelt treated his wounds. When she was done, she asked him to stay at camp because walking to the Gathering alone would be hazardous with the badger on the loose. Spiderleg simply nodded, and got up to move closer to Whitepaw. As he did, her eyes fluttered open. Seeing him, she let out a furious hiss.
"Why did you follow me?" she growled, her eyes flashing with corcern, and in their depths, Spiderleg could see undying love. For him...?
His fur felt hot as he answered honestly. "I was scared for you," he said quietly.
For...for me? Spiderleg was scared for me? Whitepaw stared at him, and found herself wishing, wishing with all of her heart, all of her mind, all of her soul, her very being, that it was true.
((Was it any good? *self doubtful*))

Cinderpelt cast a quick glance at Spiderleg and Whitepaw with a knowing smile on her face. Spiderleg stared back at her, his head shrinking lower in an embarassed shrug. Whitepaw struggled to sit up, but her head felt faint and her legs weak as she slid back down again. Cinderpelt eyed her condition with an increasing seriousness. "Whitepaw, you won't be able to go to the gathering," Cinderpelt informed her. Whitepaw felt a pang at the loss, and she knew it was all her own fault- if only she hadn't tried to prove her courage! "But-" Whitepaw choked. She looked back at Spiderleg's trusting, compassionate eyes. "Spiderleg won't be able to finish," she continued in a subdued tone. "I wouldn't want to go now, anyways," Spiderleg assured her. The Gathering would be spoiled, anyway, by their injuries. "Everyone else can tell me about it." Whitepaw blinked gratefully and dropped her head as once again she fell asleep.

((Urgh… I completely forgot about this… sorry. xD Anyways, scene change! *gasps dramatically*))
Mistyfoot padded easily across the smooth log, her tail flicking back and forth confidently as she strode on behind her Clan. She had stayed in the back to make sure that none of the cats fell off into the water; while RiverClan cats obviously knew how to swim, Leafbare would make the water cold, and some Elders couldn’t swim as they used to.
The number attending this Gathering from RiverClan would be relatively small; not only had Mistyfoot convinced Leopardstar that Hawkfrost and those with him who had attacked WindClan should be left behind, that they did not deserve to go to the Gathering, but also some warriors had to be left behind to “guard” the warriors left behind… Leopardstar had said it was to make sure that Onestar or Blackstar didn’t attack, but Mistyfoot privately thought it was to keep an eye on Hawkfrost and his followers.
“Mistyfoot!” Leopardstar called from just up ahead, on the island, jolting the Deputy out of her thoughts. Most cats had already left leapt off the log, onto the shores of the island, and were waiting for their leader’s command to head on. “I would like to talk to you.”
“Yes, Leopardstar?” Mistyfoot asked, bounding forwards, but not past the Elders who were making a fuss about jumping off. An apprentice somewhere near the back of the group sighed noisily, until the Elders glared at him and jumped off. Mistyfoot followed, going to stand next to her spotted superior. “Yes?” She repeated, flicking her tail again. The same apprentice sighed again, until its mentor whispered, “Hush, Stonepaw!”
The name brought back memories of her own brother, Stonefur, who had been killed rather than kill Feathertail and Stormfur, then Featherpaw and Stormpaw. Mistyfoot closed her blue eyes briefly, then opened them again. “Yes?” she repeated again. However, Leopardstar just leapt past her, past the Clan, into the clearing.
None of the other Clans had arrived yet, and so the Clan quickly spread out to investigate the clearing before the other Clans came. “Yes?” Mistyfoot asked as Leopardstar headed over to the tree in the center of the clearing, and sat next to a particularly large root.

((You can play any cat in this RPG. No one really owns one. Heheh i kinda thought you guys forgot about it too ._.'))
Crowfeather prowled through the depths of the forest until he came to the fallen tree. His excitement began to grow at the thought of seeing Leafpool, but the thought of Feathertail still lingered in his mind. His blue eyes grew wide as he recognised the sleek tabby pelt that emerged from the undergrowth. "Leafpool?" he meowed. The she-cat only twitched her ears in recognition. But as they both reached the island she slipped over to him.

"Hello," she breathed, unconciously pressing her pelt against his. Crowfeather's muscles relaxed as he felt the breathing of his second love. Second. Crowfeather wished he could put away the pressing notion, but even with Feathertail's message he was not completely reassured. He had not been betraying Feathertail, maybe, but certainly his Clan. But Leafpool was to compelling to let go, not yet. He saw Leafpool's anxious glances towards her father. Crowfeather felt a growl rise in his throat- it would certainly be Firestar's fault, lest anything go wrong. His blue eyes locked on a shaded patch between trees. "Come," he whispered to Leafpool. The tabby she-cat looked startled. "Where?" she asked stubbornly. "Why?" Crowfeather felt his pulse beat faster at the sight of her beautiful milky eyes. "There," he replied, pointing. "Let's be alone."

Leafpool followed Crowfeather into the shaded area beneath the trees. She settled herself down and closed her eyes momentarily before she opened them and glanced up at Crowfeather. He was staring down at her, his blue eyes glowing with love. "Leafpool..." he breathed. "Will... will you bear my kits?"

Leafpool purred, then suddenly her expression darkened. “I’m a medicine cat,” she murmured. Crowfeather licked her ears. “And I love you, Leafpool.” Leafpool sighed, her tail slinking beneath her legs. “I’ll never know them, will I?” she meowed, her eyes pained. Crowfeather felt his heart ache. “Neither will I,” he sighed, “but…” Leapool nodded. “Even then… it’s worth it.” Her eyes strayed to Sorreltail and Brackenfur, so happy. Why did I want to be a medicine cat? she asked herself. The guilt of her love made her feel uneasy... and yet, she knew she couldn't leave Crowfeather.

((Scene change!))
Cinderpelt walked back to her den and looked at her stock of herbs. Hmm... we need some more poppy seeds. A noise came from outside. Cinderpelt glanced up to see a shape standing in the entrance. The light was too dim to make out who it was, but when Cinderpelt tasted the air, it didn't smell like any ThunderClan cat she knew...
((I have serious writer's block.))

A gray shape appeared from the shadows behind her. His pelt was ragged and clung to his bones and his yellow eyes were dull. It took Cinderpelt a moment to recognise him. "Gray...Graystripe?" she gasped, her eye wide.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Leafpool didn't know what to do. She loved Crowfeather, but she was a medicine cat, forbidden to have kits. Oh StarClan help me! I'm being torn in two!, she wailed silently. Crowfeather pressed his flank close to hers, clearly understanding her troubles.

Suddenly a flare burned inside of Leafpool's heart. "Oh, what does it matter," she purred as her love consumed her. "Yes, Crowfeather, I will..."
----------------------
"Cinderpelt," Graystripe gasped. "Long journey..." Suddenly the torpid form collapsed into a heap. Cinderpelt gasped and raced over to the lost deputy. He was still breathing, but rapidly. "Spiderleg!" she called, beckoning over the tom. Spiderleg, who had been observing this exchange with rapturous interest and awe, willingly came to his medicine cat's side. "Yes?" he asked excitedly. "Help me get Graystripe into my den," she commanded, and the two cats began to lift the deputy onto their backs. He was suprisingly light, and very thin, with his ribs showing through.

Mistyfoot began to feel annoyed at Leopardstar's unresponsiveness. "Yes?" she meowed. Leopardstar glared at her but continued. "Don't say anything about Hawkfrost, other than that he did not know what he did was wrong, okay?" Mistyfoot shrugged, and padded away. ---------------------------- Birchpaw purred as his friend bounded over to him. "Applepaw, I've missed you so much!" Applepaw nodded, and her two brothers came into view. "So, Birchpaw, who's your mentor?" ask Toadpaw. "Brambleclaw," he replied. The conversation carried on and the three apprentices found themselves wishing more and more that they could meet more often. Marshpaw broke into a chat by Toadpaw and Birchpaw, almost afraid to speak. "Hey, do you think it'll be all right to meet at times other than Gatherings?" he meowed. The cats thought for a moment, then shrugged. "What harm can it do?" -------------------------------- Stormfur watched the full moon rise above the mountains. He felt glad knowing his father was back with the Clan he loved, and he thought about the forest far below. They're probably having a Gathering right now, he thought. I wish I could tell them the good news right now! His eyes strayed to the waterfall, where inside Brook was expecting kits. His kits!

Stormfur stared in adoration at his mate, gazing wistfully at her sleek form, beautiful shimmering pelt, and limber figure... Even with her belly sagging with kits he felt a soaring joy pulse through himself in a whispy arabesque of love. He padded over to Brook, glancing his nose against hers and peering once again peering into the opal depth of her irises. "Stormfur," she breathed in a lilting tone. "You know, Stoneteller is ready for the ceremony." "You mean the changing of name?" Stormfur replied, his heart leaping. This would be his final initiation into the tribe, an everlasting marker of his loyalty... And his last trace of the Clans gone. He felt a small pang, but still felt gleeful at the thought of his completion, fully becoming a member and contributor to the tribe...
Stormfur watched the tribe in curiousity, wondering at their rituals. After a few moments of anticipating silence, Stoneteller cleared his throat and spoke. "The Tribe of Endless Hunting sees my actions and approves. They watch down as I summon Stormfur." Stormfur dipped his head and padded dutifully to Stoneteller. "Stormfur, you have come from a Clan. Your sister has given her life to rid of us Sharptooth. You have now joined us. Does the Tribe deem you worthy of your name?" The Tribe cheered in response, a "yes" meowed in unision. "Then Stormfur, from this day on we see you as Storm Of Cold Wind and a complete member of the Tribe as a worthy Prey-hunter." Storm felt a ripple run through him as he heard the Tribe chant his name with force, as the words ran through his mind. "His new mate, Brook, will soon join the Kit-Mothers and give us more Tribe members." The cheers of the Tribe grew louder as Storm fell into an unbreakable void of unity.

Tawnypelt woke and stretched, remembering the Gathering of the night before. Not much happened, aside from Leopardstar fiercely defending Hawkfrost from onslaught after onslaught, and Onestar annoucing that he was now officially a leader. She crawled over to the apprentice's den, sniffing for Applepaw. Her apprentice bounded out, meowing excitedly. "Tawnypelt? Can we go hunting? Please please please?" Tawnypelt shrugged, heading towards the camp exit with her apprenitce in tow. "Sure."
