((Ok))
Crowfeather thought he could see 2 pairs of eyes in the darkness. One was a lovely blue and the other was a sparkling amber. Then the amber eyes disappeared and Feathertail stepped out of the gloom. He looked at her, his blue eyes wide. Starlight sparkled in her silver fur and the pale tabby stripes shone. She stepped forward to touch Crowfeather's nose, her eyes shining with love. "Goodbye Crowfeather." she murmured. "I love you and i'll always be waiting...." Then she disappeared and the darkness engulfed him....
((Was that ok?))

((Perfect... lets start with a Gathering, that way we can get our main characters too...)) Applepaw started over the tree branch with her mentor, Tawnypelt, excited by the prospect of her first Gathering. It would be everyone's first Gathering in the new forest, and she could feel their excitement in the air. Her spirits lifted, knowing that Birchpaw would be there as an apprentice too. Toadpaw and Marshpaw matched her step for step, eager to meet the cats they had journeyed with once more.

((Lets have Brambleclaw be Birchpaw's mentor))
Leafpool padded quickly through the forest, her sister, Squirrelflight matching her step for step. Leafpool's heart lifted at the thought of seeing Crowfeather, the WindClan warrior again. She blushed under her pale tabby fur but no cat seemed to take any notice. She glanced behind her where Brambleclaw was making his way through the undergrowth, his tail waving in the air and his amber eyes gleaming in the moonlight. His apprentice, Birchpaw walked alongside him, his blue eyes shining happily at the thought of going to his first gathering but there was something else hidden behind the dark blue colour....

A cold leaf-bare wind filtered through the leafless trees, blowing through the cats’ fluffed up fur as they trekked silently through the woods, each with their own thoughts. However, there wasn’t a pair of eyes that glittered in excitement, a set of paws that pricked eagerly at the thought of seeing friends again, bonds that were still in the process of being broken. For Whitepaw, though, she didn’t feel as happy as she normally did at the thought of Gatherings. It was true that she had started training after Squirrelflight, Leafpool, Spiderleg, and Shrewpaw, but not terribly longer. Squirrelflight had gotten her name for going on the journey and bringing the Clans their new home, Leafpool had found their link to StarClan, Spiderleg had driven a badger away from camp successfully on his own… yes, these were all marvelous deeds, and she never once doubted that her friends deserved their warrior names, but she felt forgotten and lonely. The few nights she had slept in the apprentice’s den alone before Birchpaw had become an apprentice had been the worst of her life so far. Even after that, the den still felt empty, and Birchpaw almost felt like a stranger to her.
Whitepaw sighed slightly, and out of the corner of her green eyes saw Spiderleg sidling over to her as they cleared a log. Uncertain that she might sound jealous of his warrior name-- which she was, a little--or angry--which she wasn’t, not really--if she talked to him, she took advantage of the fact that he had to skirt a bush and she didn’t to edge closer to her mother, Brightheart. Somehow, she would get Firestar to notice her and give her her warrior name.

Spiderleg watched Whitepaw curiously. He knew she was upset and he guessed it was about his warrior name. He sighed and his pelt prickled uneasily. He loved Whitepaw--more than anything. Her dark emerald green eyes and sparkling white fur and lean limbs. He closed his eyes and he felt a comforting prescense beside him. He glanced upwards to see his mother, Ferncloud staring down at him. Her green eyes were warm with pride and Spiderleg felt his fur bristle with embaressment. He smiled at her before he rushed forward hoping to find his love. But as he got closer to the front he couldn't see Whitepaw anywhere. Then a flash of white caught his eye and he saw the apprentice sprinting through the undergrowth away from the group. And he knew at once something was about to go wrong.

Whitepaw pushed forward to the front of the group, until she was just behind Firestar and Dustpelt. They were talking quietly together, and for a second Whitepaw strained her ears forward to here what they were saying. Then Firestar gave her a slightly annoyed look, completely aware of her eavesdropping. He said nothing, but the look in his eyes made her feel as if she was a tiny kit who’d just been yelled at. She dropped slightly to the side of the group, her green eyes watching the ground, and not the cats around her. She bumped into Rainwhisker once, who’d hissed at her without any real annoyance, but she’d felt even worse. Just then, though, an unfamiliar scent caught her attention. She paused, opening her mouth to smell it better. However, she still couldn’t identify it. Firestar’s always saying we need to find out more about our new home… maybe, if I find something important enough, he’ll pay attention to me then! she thought excitedly. Her emerald eyes darted over to Firestar and Dustpelt for a moment, then she shrugged. She wouldn’t tell them, she decided; they’d just send somebody else to see what it was. Without another thought, she raced off through the undergrowth, her mouth slightly open to scent it better. After a moment, she recognized another cat following her, and she hissed in annoyance to find Spiderleg following her. “What are you doing?” She hissed, her unsheathed claws sinking into the soft ground. With him there, her discovery, whatever it was, wouldn’t seem nearly as important! Annoyance colored her voice, and she instantly regretted her bitter tone, but there was nothing she could do about it now.
“I just--” he started, only to be cut off by Whitepaw with a hasty hiss; she’d scented it, stronger than ever now. He flicked his tail, opening his eyes wide in surprise as he recognized the scent. The black warrior was a minute too late, though, as the creature burst through the undergrowth, it’s eyes blazing angrily at the cats who had dared to invade its home.
((o.o;; Whitepaw is acting a lot like Brightheart-paw. xP))

((Hehe yah... )) Whitepaw gasped as she recognised the striped black-and-white face. Before she could react she felt long deadly claws slash against her flank. Whitepaw let out a gasp of pain and stumbled backwards her eyes filled with pain. She saw Spiderleg briefly but then all her senses faded and she was left in the darkness... ((Bad i know, writers block))

"No!" Spiderleg yelled hoarsely. He arched his back and extended a paw towards the badger, but it was already snuffling around Whitepaw's body. "You! Get away from her!" he cried and leaped on top of the rough lump of fur. His amber eyes burned with wild fury. Nothing did that to Whitepaw. He tore at it's back with his claws, scrabbling. The badger grunted irritably and turned its head around, trynig to get a snap at him.

It's legs connected in his foreleg and he let out a cry of pain. He snarled furiously and dug his teeth into the badger's neck, digging his long fangs into his throat. The badger struggled beneath him and eventually it threw him off and just lumbered back into the unergrowth. Spiderleg's limbs grew weak with relief and he padded over to the white apprentice, who now lay in a pool of blood. "Whitepaw?" he whispered. She didn't reply and Spiderleg sunk his teeth in the scruff of her neck and began to drag her gently through the bushes back to his Clanmates.

The first cat, coicidentally, who saw Spiderleg come into camp was Cloudtail. The white warrior hissed and rushed over, knocking Spiderleg down. "You...you've..." He couldn't finish his sentence through h is rage. He was about to deliver a blow bewtween the eyes when Brightheart bowled into him as gently as possible, but with enough force to stop him. "He carries the scent of badger. You don't think that he would really do this to her?" Her yellow eyes were filled with sorrow.

Cloudtail hissed in fury but moved away from Spiderleg, his blue eyes blazing. Leafpool imediately began to make her way through the crowd to crouch beside the apprentice. "She's alive--and she'll be fine. She's just fainted." Brightheart sighed in relief and turned her yellow gaze to Spiderleg, "How did this happen?" she demanded. Spiderleg dipped his head, "I saw her leave the group." he meowed. "I followed her and out of no where a badger appeared. He attacked before either of us could do anything." He nudged her gently as her chest rose and fell. Cloudtail's fur began to relax and he turned to Leafpool, "We should get her back to camp." Rainwhisker hissed, "We're supposed to be going to a gathering! Not wasting our time!" There was gasps from more then one cat and Cloudtail turned on him, his white fur bristling and one forepaw extended threatingly. Firestar pushed his way between them, "We're early." he growled. "Leafpool, Spiderleg and Brightheart will take her back to camp and will join us later."

The three cats nodded, and together Spiderleg and Brightheart lifted the white she-cat onto their shoulders. The air was still and silent as the cats from the Gathering watched them leave. Rainwhisker pushed past his leader and mumbled something to Brambleclaw before the group started to walk again. Leafpool glanced over at Spiderleg. She saw the flickering flame of worry in his eyes and gave a small half-smile. "She'll be fine." They reached the camp about that time, and entered it solemnly.

Brackenfur had just appeared from the nursery where Sorreltail slept now since she would bear kits in only a few moons time. He gasped when he saw his injured apprentice. "What happened!?" he yowled. Other warriors had clearly scented blood including Cinderpelt who hobbled over to him. Brightheart lay her daughter gently on the ground, "A badger." she growled, her yellow eyes flashing. Cinderpelt nodded and rushed away to get her supplies. She returned a moment later with some cobwebs which she pressed on Whitepaw's side she glanced up at Brightheart, Leafpool and Spiderleg. "Spiderleg i'd like you to stay here so i can check your wounds. Brightheart, Leafpool you may go back to the gathering now if you wish."
((Did i do something wrong?...nevermind))
