Description: Nightcloud is a sleek she-cat. She is tall and has a long tail. Her pelt is all black- no other colour. Her fur is short and glossy. Nightcloud has deep, deep amber eyes that are a lighter shade of yellow around the outside. Her pads on her paws are black as well, and so is her nose. Nightcloud has one distinctive scar along her spine. Most of her fur has grown back there, but you can still see the mark if you look closely. She Nightcloud has a light pink tongue.

Personality: Nightcloud is a shy she-cat. She seems dark and mysterious to other cats. Nightcloud fears almost nothing. She is brave and daring. She is smart and very cunning. Nightcloud comes up with many ideas and plans, and almost never gets into trouble. She doesn't talk that much to cats from other Clans, though she talks a lot when around friends.
History: Nightcloud was an un-loved kit. Her mother abandoned her in the forest. Her mother did not love her. The tiny black she-kit was found in the forest, alone, cold and starving. ShadowClan quickly brought her back to their camp, where a queen gave her milk. The medicine cat gave her some healing herbs, but no one knew if the kit would survive. Kept under the constant watch of her Clan-mates, she recovered. The queen's other kits had died, so Nightcloud had no other kits to play with in the nursery. She was always rather lonely, even after she became an apprentice. Nightcloud had few friends- preferring to be by herself.
When Nightcloud was an apprentice, a strange rogue she-cat came to ShadowClan- demanding her kit. She recognized Nightcloud as her kit, and demanded that she come with her. ShadowClan refused, and chased the rogue off. They found her other times in the forest, though she never came back to their camp. While out hunting by herself one day, Nightcloud saw a dark shape moving through the undergrowth. It was her mother. When Nightcloud would not listen to the rogue's small talk, she faught her. The rogue left a long scar along Nightcloud's spine. Nightcloud managed to chase the she-cat off, but she had some serious injuries. Her mother never came back after that. After a whole moon of care from ShadowClan's medicine cat, Nightcloud recovered. She finally became a warrior after that.
IC: Nightcloud was padding through the forest by herself. She paused at the lake to lap up some of the cool water. She spotted some fish swimming around in the water, but she did not even try to catch them; she knew she couldn't. They were too fast for her. The black she-cat turned and left. A strange smell reached her scent-glands. RiverClan! Nightcloud spat at the fowl smell. The scent was becoming stronger and stronger at each moment. Nightcloud decided to wait for the intruders to come to her. Then she would catch them. She hid under a holly bush, hoping the leaves would disguise her scent. She could hear her heart beating. thump thump! thump thump! The beating became louder and louder as the RiverClan scent grew stronger and stronger. Suddenly, the smell overwhelmed her, and she heard rustling in the bushes. She leaped out of her hiding place. Fur bristling, she glared at the intruders. There were three of them. 2 she-cats and a tom. The tom had shaggy gray fur, while the she-cats were both white-pelted. "What are you doing on ShadowClan territory?" Nightcloud spat. Her tail was fluffed out to twice it's normal size.
"What does it look like?" sneered the tom. "This should be easy. There are three of us and only one of you." Then the RiverClan cats crept around her, and sprang.
Nightcloud sceetched, hoping that a patrol would hear her. She was buried under the invaders. She could feel her fur being clawed off. She shreiked, and bit down on one of their necks. She scraped her claws down another one's belly. One of the cats ran off. But there were still two more. And they were fresh. Nightcloud felt weak. Could she win this battle? She prayed that ShadowClan would come to help her. Her claws flung out at the tom's face, blood slattered her pelt. She felt teeth meet her shoulder and she yowled. She flipped over to claw at her attacker. Meanwhile the tom leaped onto her, pushing her face into the dirt. Nightcloud thrust herself upward, knocking the tom off. She growled, and scratched her claws hard down the white she-cat's pelt. Then the she-cat ran off. It was only her and the tom now. Can I beat him? she wondered. She could feel blood welling out of a wound on her side. She sprang at the tom, the light of battle in her eyes. Nightcloud raked her claws over his head. She leaped onto his back, and pushed him to the ground. He spat, and clawed her with his hind legs. The black she-cat yowled. She bit into his neck, and waited. The tom was still clawing at her belly, and she thought she was going to burst of pain. But she held on. Finally the tom stopped. Nightcloud let go, and watched him scampering off into the trees.
She sat, panting on the ground. A ShadowClan patrol burst into the clearing. "What happened?" one cried, "We smelled RiverClan!"
"They're gone," mewed Nightcloud, "I chased them off." then she fell to the ground- exhausted.
